If you discover multiple applications for the same household (ie. duplicate applications) the following is recommended.
- Identify the application ID numbers of the duplicate applications.
- Choose the application ID number of the application you will keep.
- Change the status of the duplicate application to DENIED status.
- Add note to the duplicate application that indicates "This was a duplicate application to applicant ID# X." Be sure to add in the application ID # of the application that you kept as active.
