The COVID-19 Housing Assistance Program software automatically withdrew assistance requests that were not in the submitted status by 11:59 pm on December 7, 2020.

There were some assistance requests that were inadvertently allowed to submit or remain open.  To assess whether an assistance request was submitted within the deadline, please look to the application notes.  (See below for snapshot.)

If you discover an assistance request that was not automatically withdrawn, MN Housing requests that you move the assistance request to withdrawn.

To withdraw an assistance request follow these steps:

  1. Click on applicant record
  2. Review activity log (at bottom of page)
  3. Confirm assistance request was submitted AFTER the 12/7 deadline by looking at the timestamp. (See above highlight on the image)
  4. Click "Continue Assistance Request"
  5. Scroll to bottom of page
  6. Click Red Button labeled "Withdraw Assistance Request"
  7. Create a note explaining action in the applicant record.
